There's no getting around it, I'm in HypeFloats for the money. The cold hard American sawbucks are what prompt me to push club banger after synthesized club banger and steer clear of the piano-laden esoteric hip-hop that drives no traffic.
If you read that seriously, welcome to HypeFloats for the first time. In the time-honored tradition of taking a half-assed approach to a traditional countdown, I picked the 12 songs that have burned up my iTunes play-count in 2012, slapped the titles on an embarassing picture of myself and posted them here for your enjoyment. I added Mr. Danny Brown as a bonus, he didn't even check-in in the top 50, but his was probably my favorite of the yea. Enjoy the tunes, enjoy the artwork and for heaven's sake enjoy the holidays.
